Exhibition and Sponsorship Sales Manager (f/m/d)  – Berlin

For our Berlin headquarters, we are currently looking for a

Exhibition and Sponsorship Sales Manager (f/m/d) 

to support our Business Development/Industry Liaison Team. We are in constant exchange with industry partners developing and supporting the implementation of exhibition and sponsorship concepts, workshops, symposia, and other campaigns establishing and maintaining valuable industry relationships to secure long-term business. 

Your Tasks Include:

  • Driving new business on conferences and large-scale events by identifying, contacting, and convincing corporations to participate as exhibitors and sponsors
  • Researching the market and promote our events to global businesses by contacting mid and senior level executives  
  • Travelling to relevant competing events to meet (potential) clients and support our team for our own events worldwide  
  • Conducting research for relevant contacts/companies fitting the exhibition or sponsorship profile 
  • Providing support to your customers before, during and after each event 
  • Updating the data bases during the sales and research processes

 Your Profile:

  • Successfully completed studies and/or professional training (e.g. business/sales/marketing management) or relevant professional experience
  • First experiences in direct sales in an international environment, preferably B2B, ideally in the conference/events sector
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire clients
  • To feel at ease being around and contacting high level executives
  • Highly motivated, proactive and goal oriented, solutions focused and reliable
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken), German and any other language is preferred but not requiredl
  • Willingness to travel
